What is the best affordable bike for both on the road and light trails?
I am looking to buy a mountain bike that I can ride around the city, take on bike paths and also ride on dirt trails. I know that I do not need a full suspension bike, but can anyone offer some suggestions of types of bikes that would be good for me? I am thinking of buying a used bike but want to make sure I get a good one! Thanks!

My only advice is look for a used bike. Often times you can find a really good bike this way. People either don’t know the value of what thier selling. Or, are just in a hurry to get rid of it.
